Heartland Figure Skating Club Shines at Excel Nationals

This past July, Heartland Figure Skating Club proudly sent five of its talented skaters to the prestigious Excel Nationals in Boston, marking a significant achievement for our club. We were the only club in Kansas City to have skaters qualify for this elite competition.

To earn their spot at Nationals, these skaters had to rank among the top in their levels across the Midwest. Their dedication, hard work, and exceptional performances paid off, and we are thrilled to share their accomplishments:

Skater Achievements:

• Alex B. – Intermediate Plus Girls: 1st in the Midwest
• Katelyn R. – Intermediate Girls: 3rd in the Midwest
• Lily R. – Juvenile Girls: 2nd in the Midwest
• Gia S. – Pre-Juvenile Plus Girls: 3rd in the Midwest
• Bella W. – Intermediate Girls: 8th in the Midwest

All five skaters competed fiercely at the Nationals in Boston, with Katelyn R. earning a well-deserved silver medal in her division.

Congratulations to all our skaters for representing Heartland Figure Skating Club and Kansas City with such distinction!
