Youth Ball hockey Tournament

Get ready to hit the pavement — Youth Ball Hockey is coming to Independence this summer!

We're hosting an action-packed Ball Hockey Tournament for ages 6–14. Whether you're new to the sport or already a street hockey pro, this is your chance to bring the heat and have a blast with friends!

• Teams will be 6 players & 1 goalie

• Every player will receive 1 tournament t-shirt and water bottle

• 3-4 game minimum (dependent on number of teams in each division)

• Top 2 teams from each division will play in the Championship Game

Rules:

• Tennis shoes are the required footwear (No flip flops, socks/bare feet, roller skates, etc.)
• Gloves, helmets, and a stick are required. Shoulder pads, elbow guards, and shin pads are optional.
• All player's will be required to have a parent signed waiver on file before they are allowed to participate.

Game Play:

• Each game will consist of a 2 minute warm-up, followed by 2 - 12 minute run time periods
• Games are Continuous Play (team scored against receives the ball to start the next play, similar to pond hockey)
• No checking. Excessive roughhousing, force, and/or fighting will result in player being disqualified from the remainder of the tournament.
• Players cannot play/sub into lower age brackets.
